"It was an amusement park. There were rollercoasters and tilt-a-whirls, and all kinds of fun games. It was going great guns back then. Now it’s just a little bit of a shell of what it used to be, but they had trolley cars that came up from Pittsburgh to bring people up and trolley people from Erie to bring them down. Conneaut Lake Park was a real big asset to the community back then. When we were kids we spent a lot of time out there."
