"I said that they should have theater in Meadville. Well, Meadville didn't have too many theaters at the time... And I said, it will be good training for their sons and daughters because that would be giving them an opportunity for communication and for self-expression. And I felt as a teacher that those were two important qualities to have. And so, these community leaders took me seriously. And now there's about five different theaters in Meadville."
