"We used to go sled riding down the hill and at the bottom of the hill, just one about one or two blocks away, was Johnnie's drive-in. And that was one of the things that in the evening, a lot of the people walked down and would get ice cream or a sandwich or something. And Johnnie’s isn’t there anymore. I think there’s a church in that area now, and it was a brick street at that time and we didn’t have four wheel drive so in the winter time a lot of people would have trouble getting up the hill. So a lot of us would get out and push cars!"
